Banquet & Special Events Information

The Dayton Woman's Club was founded in 1916 and has been serving the community for ninety years.

We thank you for the opportunity to serve your social, conference and banquet needs. The Dayton Woman's Club is a private club serving its members and events sponsored by members. Our professional staff is at your service!

We would be happy to provide membership information upon request.

 

Room Usage Fees

 

All rooms are assigned by the approximate number of persons attending an event. An effort will be made to reserve the room of your choice; however, we reserve the right to change room locations to best suit the needs of your group and/or The DWC.

The affixing of anything to the walls, floors, ceilings, or light fixtures of any room is not permitted without prior written approval from the House Manager. See "Event Guidelines" section for details.

An ‘Event Contract’ and 'Party Sheet' will need to be completed for an event. This ‘Event Contract’ and 'Party Sheet' will outline many of the items in this pamphlet and contain additional information and details specific to each event.

Regular individual members and their immediate family only are considered 'MEMBERS' for the purpose of the following room fee schedules when holding events.

Business members who belong to The DWC are considered “members” for the purpose of the following room fee schedules when holding events for that business.

Room rates are priced assuming that a meal will be served to the participants. If no meal is served a beverage service and/or set up fee may apply.

A full year membership must be paid to be entitled to 'MEMBER' rates.

A 'Security Deposit' equal to 50% of the applicable room rental rate is required to secure a date. The 'Security Deposit' and 'Rental Fee' are paid for a specific date and are not refundable should you cancel your event.

The House Manager reserves the right to adjust prices/room fees based on the size and circumstances of the event.

The Dayton Woman’s Club facility houses a variety of areas for your banquet and meeting needs.

The DWC can accommodate up to 275 guests!

Main Floor:

     Ballroom seats 125-140*

     Main Dining Room seats 100-125

     Private Dining Area seats 15-20

     Full House seats 250-275*

Lower Level:

     Dreese Room seats 40-60*

Second Floor:

     Wright-Miller Auditorium seats 25-35*

     Card Room seats 8-10*

     Thomas Room seats 12-15*

An elevator is available to reach all levels of the facility. Restrooms are available on all levels of The DWC.

*Capacities for these rooms vary depending on room arrangement, i.e. classroom, meeting, theatre, or dinner setups.

Payment

 

All deposits must be paid by check only. The balance due may be paid by check or credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard transactions. The balance due must be paid the day of the event. A 7% local sales tax will be added to your final bill before the deposit is deducted.

The deposit and rental fee are paid for a specific date and are not refundable should you cancel your event.
